HAYS RECREATION COMMISSION FOUNDATION
2025 HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP
Applications for 2025 were due 4/18/25
The 2026 application will be available in January 2026

CRITERIA FOR SCHOLARSHIP:
✔️Currently enrolled as a senior at Hays High School or Thomas More Prep-Marian.

✔️Cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher.

✔️Must have been employed or is employed at some point in time at the
Hays Recreation Commission in the last 4 years.

✔️Must attend Fort Hays State University, Fort Hays Tech North Central - Hays Campus,
or Hays Academy of Hair Design – Hays Campus.

✔️Application MUST be typed.

✔️Your name should not be anywhere else on the application except on the first page.

✔️No late applications will be accepted.

A completed application must be returned to your Counseling Office no later than
3:15 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2025.

 The Hays Recreation Commission will offer four $500.00 scholarships
and four $250.00 Scholarships to qualifying seniors.
Students from Hays High School and Thomas More Prep-Marian High School
will be considered for the scholarships.

An appointed committee will make the selection and the winners will be contacted in May.
