**NEW**REFUND POLICY

Your satisfaction is important to us.  Due to program costs, including instructors, supplies, and to help maintain our minimum numbers, we ask for your cooperation when requesting a refund or credit.  Our policy is to provide a full refund or credit, your choice, to anyone who cancels by the deadline.  Anything after the deadline, will not receive a refund/credit unless your spot can be filled.


TRIP REFUND POLICY
Trips that require advance ticket purchase no refunds will be issued – see trip description.  Trips with not requiring advance tickets a full refund will be issued if cancelled by the Deadline date.  After the Deadline there will be a $5.00 processing fee charged, up until two days prior to the trip when no refund will be given.

KANSAS STATE FAIR TRIP
Come and join us for a day at the State Fair in Hutchinson, KS.  We will leave early in the morning so you can walk around the grounds at your leisure and meet back in the afternoon for your ride home.  Come yourself or bring a friend and enjoy a day at the fair.  Your meal is NOT included in your entry fee.

ONGOING ACTIVITIES - Join us for these great ongoing activities.
 
PICKLEBALL
WE HAVE GROUPS LOOKING FOR PLAYERS!!  
The fastest growing sport in America is played on a smaller court (the size of a badminton court). It is played with a paddle (larger than a ping pong paddle, smaller than a tennis racquet) and a whiffle ball. The balls & paddles are furnished, or bring your own. 
We have groups that just hit the ball around for fun and others that play by the rules.  The idea is just to get out and HAVE FUN, and get some exercise!

MONDAY NIGHT PINOCHLE
All you have to do is show up for a great night of Pinochle.  Bring your own partner or come alone and pair up with someone.  We will meet each Monday from 7:00 – 9:00pm at the Hays Recreation Center in the Marcy Allenbaugh Conference Room.  The HRC will provide pop, popcorn, cards, and other supplies.  You supply the FUN!!!  This program is open to anyone age 18 & older.  The program is free of charge although donations will be accepted to help offset the cost of supplies and supervisor.
 
TUESDAY BRIDGE TIME
Are you over 55 and love playing Bridge?  If you are, come on out to the Recreation Center and play.  Get together with your friends and meet some new ones while you play this great card game.  This program will meet every Tuesday from 1:00 – 5:00pm, in the Dale Allenbaugh Conference Room.
 
WEDNESDAY - TAI CHI SENIORS
Tai Chi Senior is a proactive origination in China and has been used for many years to promote health and well being.  It has been seen that Tai Chi can help to improve balance and relaxation.  Tai Chi consists of slow, fluid movements, which are done in a standing position.  This class is geared toward senior adults and beginner Tai Chi participants. This class will also bring you to your standing yoga poses that will complete your overall mind and body.

DROP-IN PICKLEBALL
We have a court reserved on Wednesday evening just for pickleball.  Come give it a try, make new friends.  There are people of all skill levels who play.

THURSDAY NIGHT PITCH
Join us on Thursday nights for a fun evening of playing pitch.  This program will meet from 7:00 - 9:00pm at the Recreation Center in the Dale Allenbaugh Conference Room.  This program is open to anyone age 18 & older.

GOING UNDER TRIP
Travel to Great Bend for a morning of adventure in a museum and shopping downtown. We will head back to Ellinwood for lunch at the Historic Wolf Hotel for chicken pot pie and finish with a tour of the great Underground World. If antique shops are open we will travel through the stores. Your lunch is included.

BEER & BRATS UNDERACHeIVER RACE
I don’t know if I can?  WE KNOW YOU CAN!  Just 31,680 inches, 2640 feet or 0.5 miles. We have faith that everyone one of you can make it!  You get an awesome souvenir t-shirt, Free beer at the “water station”, and a Brat at the finish line.  Let’s show those runners how it’s done!

DEPOT DINNER THEATER
Join the fun at the Dodge City Depot Theater as we watch a performance of Rehearsal for Murder.  It’s a thrilling “theatrical” mystery when a playwright turns on the stage work light and prepares for the first reading of his new play. The actors, producer, director and others connected with the show begin to read scenes, but under their humorous theatrical talk, tension grows. Everyone connected with this play was involved with another play by the same playwright. At its opening night, exactly a year ago and in this same theatre, the beautiful leading lady, who was also the playwright’s fiancée, was murdered! As these people read scenes for the new play, startling connections to the murder begin to unfold. Will the playwright’s new play make a killer reveal themselves? The growing tension reaches the boiling point with surprising revelations. A meal is included in the price.

FOUR OLD BROADS TRIP
Retired burlesque queen Beatrice needs a vacation from Magnolia Place Assisted Living.  A Sassy Seniors Cruise sounds perfect if she can convince her best friend, Eaddy Mae to join her. Adventures unfold as the gals try to outsmart the evil Nurse Pat and solve a multitude of mysteries.  Hilarity ensues as they try to throw Nurse Pat off their trail and make it to the cruise ship after all.  Sponsored by Russell’s Community Theater.

CONCORDIA TRIP
Make it a day trip as we travel to the town of Concordia.  We start at the Cloud County WWII German POW mural and then head over to the Orphan Train Complex.  We will continue with more adventures before lunch and finish with a tour of the Nazareth Motherhouse.   Lunch is not  included.

Salina Community theater performance of Cinderella: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s brilliant retelling of the classic fairytale brings all of the characters to life with new songs, a new dance and new great orchestration.  Amazing transformation, splendor, and magic will fill the stage as we root for Ella to find her prince in this holiday classic. Lunch at Marinelli’s before heading over for the afternoon performance.

CHICKEN FOOT
Chicken Foot is also known as Chicken Dominoes, a game of the “trains” family, similar to Mexican Train.  The object of the game is to have the lowest score at the end of the last round.  For each round, the object is for the player to empty their hand of dominoes by playing them on the board.

This family-style meal will be served in costumes of that era. Other adventures will be added at a later date. The meal is included in the fee.
